An Atikokan fishing guide has been fined for failing to put out a campfire.
Last August, the Ministry of Natural Resources investigated a group of anglers camping near Marmion Lake, who failed to put out a campfire, which spread.
A Waterbomber was dispatched to the fire, which cost more then $20,000.
The MNR says Ted McLeod was employed as the fishing guide by a local resort.
McLeod has been ordered to pay $7,000.
