Ontario Anglers will have to continue to wait, the new
provincial fishing regulations won’t be out until January.
The 2007-2008 regulations were slated to be released
this spring.
Minister of Natural Resources David Ramsay says launching
the new rules at the beginning of a new year keeps with
tradition.
The MNR will be replacing the current 37 fishing
divisions with 20 fisheries management zones.
Since the new regulations are not yet printed, anglers
are advised to follow the 2005-2006 guidelines.
