Two local anglers who were fishing at the Pither’s Point Park near Fort Frances on Wednesday reported to the OPP they had hooked a suspicious item from the water.
The Fort Frances detachment, along with the OPP dive unit, investigated the matter.
After a search of the area was conducted, nothing was found and the OPP have completed their investigation on the matter.
