Five New RPN’s Now Working In The Region

There are now 5 new registered practical nurses working in our community.

Brigette Loeppky is a nursing instructor at Seven Generations and says all five recently passed their qualifying exam after graduation.

“All graduated and received their diploma,” explains Loeppky.

“It’s a two-year diploma program, so they received that and only then are you eligible to write the licencing exam with the College of Nurses of Ontario. So each one of the graduates wrote the exam and they all passed.”

Loeppky says over the past two years, they have graduated 10 RPN’s locally from their program and they are now working in the community.

The next intake for the RPN program will be the fall of 2021 at the Kenora, Fort Frances and Sioux Lookout campuses of Seven Generations.
