Five People Arrested in Cat Lake First Nation

Nishnawbe-Aski Police have charged 5-people following two separate search warrants within a week in Cat Lake First Nation.
In the first search, police found 28, 60-milligram morphine pills worth $3,300 and $1,700 cash.
Police charged 31-year-old Russell Kanate and 28-year-old Nora Oombash.
The second search resulted in the seizure of 18, 80-milligram oxycodone pills, $9,000 cash, 14-long guns and 1-replica firearm.
56-year-old Johnson Sakakeesic, 48-year-old Eunice Oombash and 20-year-old Rochelle Oombash all face charges.
