The Kenora Police have released the name of a man pulled from the Winnipeg River earlier this week.
A post-mortem was conducted on 56 year old Robert James Quirt of Hudson on Tuesday, but so far the cause of death has not been released.
By-standers saw Quirt go into the Winnipeg River last Friday afternoon just north of the C.P.R. bridge in Kenora.
Four days were spent looking for him in the chilly waters.
His body was finally found Monday morning by divers from the O.P.P.’s Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.
