Flood watch issued for Dryden, Fort Frances, Atikokan

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has placed the Dryden, Fort Frances and Atikokan areas under a flood watch.

The Ministry says recent storms resulted in some areas experiencing high water levels and runoff.

It also advises caution when travelling on forest access roads for the potential of water on the road or washouts.

The watch will remain in place until next Friday.

The Ministry says it is closely monitoring the weather and developing watershed conditions and will provide further updates as required.
