A special weather statement has been issued for the Sioux Lookout and Eastern Lac Seul areas.
Total rainfall amounts of between 15 to 25 mm are expected to fall by tonight, and combined with the frozen grounds reduced ability to absorb water there is a possibility of flooding localized to low lying areas.
Rain is expected to continue into tonight and will transition to snow tonight or early Friday morning.
