Flu Shot Compliance High

The Northwestern Health Unit has seen an improvement in the number of
Health Care workers who received a flu shot this fall.
Director of Health Protection Karen Essery says a recent survey of
Long Term Care Homes found that smaller facilities had better compliance
than larger ones.
Essery says Rainy River was tops for flu vaccinations, followed by Red Lake and Sioux Lookout.
For Hospitals, Staff at Margaret Cochenour Memorial in Red Lake had the
highest percentage of flu shot vaccines at 84%.
The Dryden Regional Health Centre was close behind at second.
