Fluoride Referendum?

The highly debated topic of adding fluoride to the Municipal water
supply is back.
Council is expected to decide Monday whether or not to authorize a
plebiscite for this November’s Municipal Election.
A referendum is basically a done deal as the Northwestern Health Unit
has submitted an 1,100 name petition calling on the City to add
fluoride to the drinking water.
The Health Unit needed 10% of the City’s population in order
for the proposal to be added to the ballot.
