Flyers Drop Opening Game

It was a shootout at the Fort William Gardens in the opening game of the SIJHL Semi-Final.
When the dust settled it was the Fort William North Stars coming out on top with an 8-4 win over the Sioux Lookout Flyers Tuesday night.
Colton Brule, Darren Turner, Galen Matyjanka and Alex Beauline scored for the Flyers.
Game 2 is tonight in Thunder Bay at 6:30 central.
Meanwhile, the Dryden Ice Dogs open their Semi-Final tonight (Wednesday) at home against the Fort Frances Lakers at 7:30.
Season ticket holders can get their pre-sale tickets today from 11 until 2 at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
