Flyers Handed Over to Sioux Lookout Committee

The future of the Sioux Lookout Flyers remains up in the air.
Owner Basil Goodchild has walked way from the SIJHL franchise and handed control over to a local committee.
Goodchild, from Marathon, has not publicly stated why he has left.
Head Coach and GM Ray Miller has also stepped down.
The Flyers have given themselves until this weekend to secure financial support to keep the team running and practise time has been booked for the players.
This weekend’s 2-game series with the Thunder Bay Bearcats has been postponed.
