Anthony Bonner was the hero as he scored with less than 3 minutes left to give the Sioux Lookout Flyers their first win in nine games.
The Flyers clipped the Dryden Ice Dogs 4-3 Tuesday night in Sioux Lookout.
The goal was Bonner’s first in the SIJHL.
Chris Hoffman was the story with 2-goals and 1-assist, while Dane Morin added a single.
Bryce Maggrah led Dryden with a pair of markers, while Ian Schachte scored in the third.
Dryden outshot the Flyers 37-31.
In other action, the Duluth Clydesdales nipped Iron Range 4-3.
