Forecast for Next Winter

This past winter in Northwestern Ontario was slightly warmer than normal with an average amount of snowfall for the season.
Chief Meteorologist Ron Bianchi says they are now turning their attention on next winter.
He says the weather phenonomenom known as El Nino is expected to have an impact on the nations weather next year, including Northwestern Ontario.
This region is expected to have a mild winter with less snowfall.
