The new Centre for Research and Innovation in the Bio-Economy has
officially be established in Thunder Bay.
The Province is supporting the Regional Centre with $25-million.
A 6-member task force, consisting of Government, First Nation and
Education reps will work together to develop a forest bio-economy and to look at
the most effective way to transform the forest industry.
A business plan is expected before September 20th.
