The Ministry of Natural Resources has been able to gain the upper hand
on the remaining 180-forest fires that continue to burn in Northwestern
Ontario.
The cool and wet weather has eased the fire hazard across the Region.
Information Officer Bob Thomas says its anyone’s guess as to when all
of the fires will be extinguished.
