Forest Fire Situation Easing

A quiet weekend on the forest fire front in northwestern Ontario.
Just one new fire was reported with the number of active fires now down to 32.
However, the effects of rain in the far north were short lived and the hazard there is back to high.
The central and southern portions of the region are in a low to moderate fire hazard.
