Forest Fires Season Underway April 1st

The 2008 forest fire season gets underway Tuesday.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Debbie McLean says the upcoming season could get off to a slow-start because of the snow cover in the area.
McLean says training of summer staff has begun and the equipment is
ready to go.
She notes during the fire season, residents can only burn brush
2-hours before sunrise and 2-hours after sun-set.
