The Ministry of Natural Resources was able to conduct a pair of
managed burns this Summer.
Debbie McLean says the fires were allowed to burn in the Lac Seul and
Quetico Park areas.

The official end to the forest fire season is Monday and McLean says
they received support from all Provinces this year.
