It was good news, bad news day Thursday for the forest industry in
Northwestern Ontario.
On a day that saw Domtar close its White River Mill, Thunder Bay Fine
Paper announced the planned reopening of the former Cascades Mill.
Minister of Natural Resources David Ramsay says the Mill will employ
340-people once its fully operational.
Thunder Bay Fine Paper says it has reached an agreement to purchase the
Mill and hope to have it back up and running by the end of March.
