A show of support for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River.
The agency held its annual “Forget Me Not Dinner” in Fort Frances on the weekend.
Acting Executive Director Rosanna Tomasowski says it helps raise both money and awareness.
Tomasowski says this is Alzheimer Awareness Month and notes they are trying to raise their profile in the area.
She notes they are funded 35% from the government.
There are over 1,000 people in the region are affected with dementia.
The exact amount of money raised was not immediately available.
