The former Thunder Lake Lodge has been completely destroyed by fire.
The blaze broke out around 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, prompting a response from firefighters in Wabigoon, Dryden and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
Waterbombers joined the battle.
The building on East Thunder Lake Road was recently purchased and the family was in the process of moving in.
The cause isn’t known at this time but there were no injuries.
