The Fort Frances Muskies exploded for 6 third period goals en route to an 8-1 win over Dryden in Girls High School Hockey Thursday night.
The first two periods went back and forth with the Muskies nursing a 2-1 lead.
However, Fort was able to capitalize in the final frame on Eagles back-up goalie Carolyn White.
Taylor Meyers and Lauren Krukoski led the onslaught with a pair of goals each, while Lindsay Roerig, Nina Bird, Lauren Pierce and Kailey Curtis added singles.
Fort Frances will stay in Dryden to compete in the Annual Northern Shield Tournament starting Today.
