Fort Frances Dubbed a “Border Outpost”

Canada’s National Newspaper has made a rather unflattering remark according to officials in Fort Frances.
Mayor Dan Onichuk says he is not happy about how the Town is described in an October 16th Globe and Mail story about flu vaccines.
The article describes Fort Frances as a “border outpost” which immediately upset Onichuk.
Onichuk says the comment is typical of how the Region is portrayed in Southern Ontario and he plans to write a letter to the editor.
