A Fort Frances man has been fined $2,500 for trapping violations.
Ralph Boettcher has pleaded guilty to two charges.
Court heard that in 2015 and 2016, conservation officers investigated his activities for his registered trapline north of Fort Frances.
Officers determined that Boettcher had failed to meet the conditions of his licence’s with respect to the harvest of beaver and didn’t trap any furbearing animals during the time period in question.
