When the Winnipeg Blue Bombers take to the field this summer, they
will have a Northwestern Ontario presence on the sidelines.
Scott Fawcett, who has Coached High School ball in Fort Frances and
Kenora, has been named Special Teams Co-Ordinator for the CFL team.
Fawcett says a number of challenges lie ahead and notes he will have to
make some adjustments after Coaching the Mount Allison University team.
The Fort Frances native has 1 Grey Cup ring already, as he was on the
1999 Hamilton Tiger Cats Coaching staff.
Winnipeg opens training camp in May.
