The OPP Search and Recovery Unit has pulled the body of a Fort Frances man from the depths of Manitou Lake, southwest of Dryden.
The body of 74-year-old Edwin Ted Davis was found by an OPP dive team early Saturday afternoon.
Davis was working for Manitou Gold, a mining company doing exploration work in the area, and in the process of building a winter road when the incident happened.
A post-mortem is being held in Kenora and the Ministry of Labour is investigating.
