Fort Frances Mill Closed For Now

The AbitibiBowater mill in Fort Frances is shut down indefinitely after a problem in the effluent treatment system.
The mill’s treatment system exceeded its daily biochemical oxygen demand limit due to the cold weather.
The company says it is not possible to say how long it will be down or how many of the 565 employees will be affected.
