Routine testing is being blamed on a power outage in Fort Frances that lasted almost an hour last night.
Fort Frances Power Corporation CEO Jim Kibiuk notes a problem occurred at approximately 5:50-pm.

Hydro One customers in outlying areas of Fort Frances only lost power for a few minutes.
Kibiuk adds the testing being done was required by the province under the independent electricity system operators.
