Fort Frances Sabres New SIJHL Team

The new entry in the Superior International Junior Hockey League will
be known as the Fort Frances Sabres.
Owner Carolyn Kellaway unveiled the team logo and name at a press
conference in Fort Frances on the weekend.
As expected, the Sabres introduced former Borderland bench boss Wayne
Strachan as head coach.
In other SIJHL news, the Thunder Bay Bearcats have fired coach Ian
Swalucynski.
