The CEO of Riverside Health Care Facilities says the Phase 4 redevelopment at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances has made the facility the envy of the region.
Wayne Woods notes state of the art equipment is now in place in the hospital’s new operating rooms which are now in use.
The expansion also houses the new lab, x-ray and renal dialysis departments.
Renovations are now taking place on the old 1941 wing and 1952 wing of the hospital.
The project will likely come in at about 14.5 million with 5 million coming from the foundation and the community.
