A couple from Fort Severn First Nation has struck it rich with the OLG Instant Bingo Multiplier game.
Victoria and Thompson have won the $250,000 prize.
The two have been married for over 30 years and say they play the lottery regularly when they visit their grandchildren.
The winning ticket was purchased at Fresh Market Foods in Sioux Lookout.
They plan to share their winnings with their family and possibly purchase a new truck and some ATV’s.
Victoria adds living in a small fly-in community where food prices are high, this will ensure they have what they need.
The 56 year old Victoria says she loves instant bingo and instant crosswords and adds, “I was playing my ticket and told my husband, ‘If only we had got B6, we would have been big winners.’ Then, after reviewing the numbers, I saw I missed B6. I was so excited.”
Victoria says she ran into the kitchen to tell her family and her daughter-in-law confirmed the win using the OLG Lottery App.
