Provincial Police have confirmed the identity of the body found in the Dryden area.
A post mortem exam has confirmed the body found was 43-year-old Emily “Chico” Brown from Wabigoon Lake First Nation.
Brown was reported missing earlier this month.
Officers from the OPP, Treaty 3, and Dryden Police all joined community volunteers in the search for Brown.
Her body was located at the Chomitsa Trailer Park one week after she was reported missing.
Foul play is not suspected and police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Anyone who was in contact with Brown before her disappearance or has any information is urged to contact the Dryden OPP.
