4 groups who specialize in helping area children and families have been
selected to share $50,000 in Moffat Family funding.
The Dryden Mayor’s Committee for Children and Youth is the main
recipient with $31,140 in funding.
The Dryden Food Bank will receive $11,535, Big Brothers and Big Sisters
$5,323 and the Canadian Diabetes Association $2,000.
12-groups applied for funding but 8 did not meet the Winnipeg Foundation’s requirements.
City Council is expected to approve the funding next Monday.
