The Kenora Under-18 ‘AAA’ Thistles have their first win of the season.
The Thistles upended the visiting Southwest Cougars 5-4 Saturday.
Dryden’s Brandon Gustafson had a goal and an assist, while Red Lake’s Ben Norlock added an assist.
Kenora followed the victory up with a 6-5 set-back Sunday against the Cougars.
Gustafson once again found the back of the net and recorded a helper.
