Four Year Contract Ratified By Sioux Tower’s Staf

A new contract for unionized staff at Sioux Tower’s Home for the Aged in Sioux Lookout.
Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union staff have voted 88% in favour of a 4-year contract.
The deal includes a 10% wage increase over the life of the agreement as well as a boost in eye glass coverage and annual foot wear allowance.
CEP National local representative Stephen Boon says they are pleased to have reached a solid, long term contract with a number of key improvements.
The contract covers about 12-workers.
