It only took Franco-Cite 4 sets 26-24, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20 to get past the dynasty team known as Eden.
Eden has won every OFSAA since 2006 and came into the competition the number one seeded team.
Franco-Cite Head Coach Thierry Lavigne says both teams were evenly matched and there wasn’t much that set the two apart.
However, Lavigne says his team didn’t let their emotions take over and thinks the team managed the downs a bit better than Eden.
He adds that Eden is an amazing team and it’s an honour to be the team to snap their streak.
Lavigne says the team loved their experience in Dryden and the team will remember the trip for a very long time.
