Fraud Warning

Area residents are asked to be aware of a possible fraud.
Dryden OPP received a complaint on Tuesday from an Oxdrift resident.
Police say the resident received a call from someone who said he was from Quebec.
The caller said he was in a terrible car crash and needed cash right away to avoid going to jail.
When the person asked for the last name of the caller, he refused to answer.
The complainant questioned the individual and the caller hung up.
Police remind the public to not give money to anyone you don’t know.
