If you are travelling to Thunder Bay, be aware the City is still under a freezing rain warning.
Environment Canada says the Lakehead area is in store for five centimetres of freezing rain and ice pellets Wednesday.
Another two to four centimetres of ice is expected Wednesday night.
Meterologist Rob Kuhn says this is a bona fide storm.
The City won’t get a reprieve from the icy conditions until sometime on Thursday as ice is also forecast for the morning.
The storm has closed several offices, government buildings and schools, including Confederation College and Lakehead University.
