The production crew of a French-language TV show is making its way across Northwestern Ontario.
The TVA Network is a featuring a show segment with a “Survivor”-type adventure.
The crew stopped in Dryden yesterday.
Production coordinator Marie Claude Wolfe says nine contestants are travelling six thousand kilometres in ten days in just two vehicles – spending all but 90 minutes a day in the vehicles.
Wolfe says one by one contestants are voted off the show by a studio audience.
She adds a female contestant was voted off during a live broadcast from Dryden last night on TVA Network.
This weekend, the crew is heading to Portage la Prairie and Moose Jaw before returning eastbound to Montreal.
The show airs on TVA Monday to Thursday at 9:30-PM.
