You want some good news today?
Well…..here it is!
Red Lake & Ear Falls: Winter Carnival Success – With the transition into spring, both towns are celebrating the massive success of their recent winter festivals. Turnout was higher than previous years, and local businesses are reporting a great “boost” from the visitors who came to enjoy the trails and ice fishing.
Vermilion Bay: The Pine Tree Spirit – The Pine Tree Pathways group has been receiving kudos, and some fresh volunteer interest, for their maintenance of the local trails. It’s the perfect time of year for those “crust-runs” on the snow, and the community pride in those trails is at an all-time high.
Ignace: Community Hub Progress – There’s a lot of buzz in Ignace regarding new recreational programming for seniors and youth. The local community hall has seen a surge in “New-to-You” swap meets and social teas, keeping everyone connected during these final weeks of the “between-seasons” weather.
And that is…… ‘Good News’—because your day could always use a little goodness!
