Friendship Centers Money #1

Three Northwestern Ontario Native Friendship Centers

will be each receiving 100-thousand dollars in program

funding.

The National Association of Friendship Centres allocated

the Federal funds to Neechee in Kenora, United Native in

Fort Frances, and Geraldton’s Thunder Bird Friendship

Centre.

Executive Director Peter Dinsdale says they have 33

million dollars over three years to spend.

Dinsdale adds the 100-thousand dollars will be used to

offer activities and programs to Ubran Aboriginal Youth.
