Local correctional centres are getting a staffing boost.
Nine new correctional officer graduates from across the north are being assigned to the Kenora Jail, the Thunder Bay Jail and the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre.
A total of 53 recruits are being deployed to 15-different provincial institutions.
