The Forest Stewardship Council is calling on Resolute Forest Products to stop its attack against it.
The agency which certifies forest operations is upset with comments Resolute has made, questioning the process used in certification.
The Council says the company has gone as far as suggesting pressure from Greenpeace lead to the F-S-C suspending its certifications.
It has written to Resolute to end what it calls “discriminatory activities and communications.”
