Funding for a New Bridge in Sandy Lake

The Provincial Government is providing Sandy Lake First Nation, northeast of Red Lake, $158,000 to build a new bridge over the Berens River.
The project will increase the number of days that the existing seasonal ice road can be used by First Nations in the area.
The money will assist with bridge design, surveying and environmental assessments.
