Funding For Aboriginal Achievement

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has received a grant from the Ministry of Education for $75,000 to help aboriginal students.
Superintendent of Education Sean Monteith says they have a number of ideas of how they want to use the funding.
Bringing aboriginal elders into area Schools and easing the transition to Grade 9 are among the ideas at this point.
Monteith says they have applied for a number of grants from the Province, specifically targeting aboriginal student achievement.
