The Provincial Government has invested $7,500 in a City of Dryden clean energy initiative.
The money will help the Dryden Development Corporation study area agricultural properties.
The Corporation will take soil data provided by the Government to determine which type of crops farmers can use to grow biomass on their lands.
The study is expected to be concluded next March and is in partnership with the Kenora District Soil and Crop Improvement Association.
