Funding for Children and Women Domestic Violence P

Several regional agencies have received funding to help protect women and children from domestic violence.
The Sioux Lookout First Step Women’s Shelter, the Hoshizaki House in Dryden, Mary Berglund Health Centre in Ignace and Red Lake New Starts for Women Group all received $3,000 for various programs and workshops.
Other organizations benefitting include Dryden Regional Mental Health and Addiction Services, Canadian Red Cross Dryden Branch plus Kenora Patricia Child and Family Services.
