54-projects in Northwestern Ontario that help prevent violence against
women and children have received Provincial support.
Nearly $139,000 will go towards educational conferences and material, staff training, and public awareness campaigns.
Family Resource Centres, Public Health groups, Sexual Assault Centres
and Emergency Shelters are just a few that will benefit.
Dryden groups alone will see over $14,000.
