Funding for First Nations

The Province is setting aside $2-million for First Nation
communities in Northern Ontario.
The money is meant to investigate new economic opportunities and to
invest in land-use planning and forestry development initiatives.
Minister of Natural Resources David Ramsay says its there plan to
improve the economic situation on First Nation reserves through the Northern
Boreal initiative and the Forestry Futures Trust.
